Caspar

This young soul has seen more darkness in his short life than most dragons have over their hundreds of years. The early years were not kind to him, and all the colour has faded from his coat. The only light left to Caspar was in his eyes, and even that was fading when Emrys found him.

Emrys, another transmasculine dragon, took Caspar under his wing immediately and abruptly the younger Tundra's life took a turn for the better. In Emrys' lair, Caspar is free to follow his heart. Previously expelled from his blood-family and forced to fight for his life in the wilderness, Caspar is now able to put his claws and sword to rest. He spends his days reading and in meditation, feeling the wind through his long shaggy fur and studying lore long into the night. He is slowly teaching himself a mage's craft, and the light that might have flickered out is coming back into his gaze. His claws and wing-tips are also picking up a new colour; a bright gold glow, a gift from the knew knowledge he has found. Too many years have passed for his coat to lighten, but Caspar is unconcerned by this. Emyrs' greatest gift to him, after his safety, is the presence of the small black cat that follows Caspar everywhere. The two share a deep bond, and Caspar is never without his faithful companion. He does not imagine he will ever leave the comforting windswept lair of Under-The-Wood, but if he does it will be with the knowledge that he has a safe place to return should the wilderness become too much again.
