Biography

Ancient Oceanides

While the modern breed of Fluffy Oceanides were believed to be tundras wandered away from Southern Icefield to get away from fighting over limited resources, there's actually another fold to their ancestry. Only recently it was discovered that the modern Oceanides derived from the Seeker Order of the Ancient breed - Gaolers. And these Gaolers' sole mission were to seek out Shade-infested beings in the outer seas. The mission went well for some and they returned to the prison with their captives, but some weren't so 'lucky' and they kept searching. Centuries had passed and these Seekers had raised families and left the kids on every shore they reached while they themselves kept on searching. The kids soon forgotten their fathers' mission of seeking Shade remnants and these kids were the forefather of the modern Fluffy Oceanides, while those gaolers who kept searching became the Ancient Oceanides. They are still seeking in the outer seas even today.

These Gaoler-Oceanides have similar features to the modern ones in such that the runes on their body are unique to the family, and is a way of identification. But their fur and marks had adapted more to the deeper sea and became more sleek and tends to blend into the ocean water better. They also breed on shore like the modern ones but their offspring are born better equipped for underwater life with oil glands fully developed, so they return to the ocean with their parents right after they were born.

Of course, they are mostly known for their stubbornness of seeking out Shade-infestations and are known to be ruthless in the process.
