- While Tricky teaches morals, love, self care and empathy, Pierre specializes more in the academic aspect of life

- He is very old, the elder of the lair, and with his age comes incredible wisdom and experience, making him the best for the position he's in

- Due to his age, he can be a grump at times, and is very strict when class is in session, but he loves teaching, loves the hatchlings, and is very fond of his lair mates

- The children love his tick, furry coat, and love to chase his tail. He doesn't appreciate this, but also thinks it's cute (unless they are distracted from their lessons)

- He smells like cherry blossoms and the wind

- Unlike Mikan, he is not bound to the hatchery and is only needed a few times a week, but on his breaks, he often chit-chats with her, and they share knowledge and stories

- Despite his great size and stern demeanor, he is very kind and gentle, a great teacher as well as moral supporter

- He's a decent spell caster, and when class is over, if the hatchlings were good, he puts on a small light show for them. Cattail believes his talents of a wizard should be more utilized, but that's not where his passion lies

- He despises Gundham and his morals and experiments. He believes his presence in the lair is abhorrent, even more so that Tricky allows him to create monstrosities in the lair

- Believes Necromna is an abomination of nature, and stays well away from them
