A B O U T

Hyperion was born surrounded by the light and cheerful music of his home flight. Even as a hatchling, he had his own way of swaying and enjoying the music. One of his clanmates noticed his enjoyment of music and decided to take him under her wing. She was proficient in several instruments and wondered if he would enjoy playing one. To her surprise, he had hated playing all the instruments she had. At a loss, she wondered if he simply didn't enjoy the music that she had, and began to compose some new songs. To her fascination, Hyperion observed her intently as she wrote. Out of curiosity, she taught him about sheet music and found that it was Hyperion's favorite thing to do. Hyperion studied under this musician for years and is now a talented and highly praised composer.
