Always the odd one out. That's what they called him. No one knew more than his last name growing up, and he was fine with that. Humans were cruel, and ignorant of the world. The stars weren't. The stars were brilliant, and when they spoke, they offered unlimited knowledge. When he withdrew from all social circles, no one noticed. When his obsession with the stars turned to frantic writing on the walls, that's when people began to listen.

Sylvaranti insisted the stars had spoken to him; that everyone else lacked the intuition and intellect to hear them. The astrology labs in the Arcane District banned him from the premises. The small observatory and vast library at Schwartz Industries, however, welcomed him with open arms.
