There is an outcropping of strange rocks some paces away from the caverns.

You make your way through them, stepping gingerly among the fading embers scattered around them. The glow gives the place an otherworldly, almost ominous aura, and when you hear the skittering and clicking of claws in the distance, you cannot stop yourself from jumping at the sound.

With your next step, you lose your footing. You stumble, and when you look down to see what caused your fall, you’re met with a pile of bleached bones, cracked and dry. It clicks, suddenly.

This is a graveyard.

Before you can properly process this information, a blur streaks across your peripheral vision. Your head whips around to track it, but you see nothing. That is, until, a skull emerges from behind one of the larger rocks towards the south.

You bite your tongue. Your eyes focus and you realize it’s not a skull -- not exactly. Four sets of eyes blink at you, and you recognize the dragon from the descriptions others have given you.

Fitting, that Ghoul haunts the graveyard.

A second head pokes itself up from behind another stone. This one’s eyes shine pink where Ghoul’s are bright blue. Risen. This one’s name is Risen.

It’s Risen who starts it first. He lets out something that sounds like a squawk -- once, then twice. Ghoul echoes the noise, and their voices overlap, shouting in short notes over and over again.

You tense, not knowing whether this is the signal of an attack or not, but as quickly as they started, they stop. They disappear behind the rocks and you wait for them to make themselves known again.

They do not.
