Maroon was one of the first members of the Galelurkers, long before Vespa's threat made them move to the place they live in now. He was given to the clans by a member of his former clan after they tried fighting against Vespa and failed, Cerena took him in with open arms and developed a motherly bond with the Imperial hatchling. At the time three other hatchlings had joined the clan through other circumstances, Amethyst, Midgard and Horizon, though they weren't related in any way they became as close as siblings as they grew up.
