Tsumiyuna Kuroyume Makoto (trad. Makoto Tsumiyuna). Prefers Yuna. Daughter of Mayonaka Kuroyume and Fukuma Makoto. Cousin of Alina and Emerald Luxia.

Magi clan. Heir of both the Makoto and Kuroyume bloodlines. The Makoto family specialized in true elemental magic, and the Kuroyume bloodline specialized in aura channeling and amplification. Yuna takes more after her father's side in looks and magic, but more after her mother in personality.

As a child, she was quite wild just like her mother, and loved to stir up trouble and play pranks on the unsuspecting. She had a passion for puzzles and games, both creating them and solving them, but elders believed her intelligence was wasted because she rarely paid attention in classes and didn't like doing any tasks that didn't involve a game or puzzle. Has the smuggest face when she knows she's outsmarted her opponents.

On Holiday

It was the start of spring, or, more notably, the start of the spring holiday. An extra day off from classes, an excuse for Tsumiyuna to drag her holed-up hermit of a cousin out for some fun! She grabbed her coat from where it was draped over her door, sliding on her boots and all but running to where she knew Alina was likely still asleep, unready and unwilling to go claim the day as truly free.

"Alina!" Tsumiyuna yelled out in sing-song, rapping at her exhausted cousin's door. Five hours of assignments, and nothing was anywhere even resembling done yet. One extra day tacked onto the weekend was nothing when you had ten days of assignments due at the end of it. "Come on, I'm not going away!" she chimed, and Alina knew it was the truth.

"It's the seventh hour of the day, Tsumiyuna," Alina groaned as she opened the door. "What could you possibly want to do seven hours into the day. It's still dark!"

"We've already wasted seven hours of our day off!" Tsumiyuna said, too cheerfully for Alina's taste. "Besides, it'll be light by the time you're ready to go out and get coffee and some baked goods. And that's only the start!"

"That's only the start?" her cousin said, voice filled with dread. "I have assignments to do! We can't be out all day."

"Of course we can! It's an extra day off, silly," the early bird chimed, a bright smile on her face. "You can do them the night before classes start again, that way we get in two days of freedom!"

"Two days of -" Alina cut herself off, shaking her head and wiping the sleep from her eyes. "I can't do all of them right before they're due! They won't get finished."

"Of course they will, I do them that way all the time," Tsumiyuna said, rolling her eyes as she tapped her heel impatiently. "Go get ready! There's a new cafe in town and I've wanted to go. I heard they have the best cream topping on -" Tsumiyuna's voice drifted off into a haze of too-excited explanation as Alina tossed their head back, already frustrated with the amount of her social tolerance Tsumiyuna intended to use up. It was looking like she'd need a vacation after this vacation day.
