About Church is a lonesome dragon. He doesn't trust anyone and is generally seen as very paranoid about his peers. He appears to be underfed and very boney for a spiral, and at times his body even appears to be falling apart.

Story Church was a child of two highly prolific dragons in his old home. Because of that a lot of pressure was placed on his shoulders, as he was expected to either be naturally gifted in magic and able to walk in his dad's footsteps, or be as strong and have a similar physical prowess as his mother. It was believed that those things could be nurtured and grown, perhaps even making him into the best of both worlds! But after a few months the hatchling spiral still did not show any kind of progress towards one way or the other. His parents were disappointed, even worse was that his clan refused to look at him. Eventually he was isolated from everyone, put in a room where he could escape in two ways; break it open through force, or use magic to open the lock. But sadly he couldn't manage to unlock the door and perished. His father would start experimenting on his body, trying to find a way to bring back his son and attempt to do get him to grow more in his way. With a gasp, Church would awaken. Their body trembling under the new weight that was put on it. Part of his skin was gone but somehow it didn't bother him as much. What was on his mind instead was the fact that he somehow felt... taller? Pieces of other spirals had been grafted onto his body, giving him the appearance of an adult dragon, except he wasn't. He was still that same little dragon who was shoved into a locked room and suffocated. He turned on his father when he began about his training again. Fleeing his old lair in search of a new one, a new place to call home and find out what makes him tick. A place where he can discover the kind of dragon he wants to be. In his travels to find a suitable lair and place to settle down, Chuch has had many different mates and fathered many children. Yet none of these relationships felt very fulfilling to him, so he usually just left fairly quickly. Staying too long in the same place fills him with anxiety, worried that his old clan has sent hunters after him after word came out about his creation. He would eventually stumble into Elfryn, who would offer to take him in and keep him safe. Or so the priest would lead him to believe. It's uncertain if the other dragon has Church's best interest at heart, but that won't stop him from being close to him and occasionally putting his undead life on the line. |
