Cruor is famed for her artistic streak, staining the land in all hues of red. Her kills are the paint and Sornieth her canvas. Cruor is not often seen during the process of her art, but her signature is unmistakable. The scenes she leaves behind are macabre and gruesome.

When she was a girl. Cruor discovered her most powerful and infamous ability; from her mouth is spawned a thick, magical smog. Even so much as a whiff of the sickly-sweet fumes are enough to ensnare the strongest of opponents, drawing them in like moths to the flame to their unfortunate and gruesome demise. It was with this gift that she dragged in her greatest catch of all; Her mate, Leonti.

Though the great sorcerer was trapped, Cruor found herself unable to kill him. She sought to send him on his way, but Leonti refused-- he had been trapped by her potent magic. So he followed her. Even after the effect of the smoke wore away, he persisted. He'd become dead-set on trying to master the magic that came easy to her. The rest is history; they were last seen lurking about somewhere in the Starwood Strand, a pair of little ones tagging along at their heels. They say that the two wear bands of cloth cut from the hem of an Emperor's burial gown as a symbol of their love; powerful, unending even in death.
