Joiya's parents are soft and sweet. She loves that about them. However, she was born with a passionate flame inside of her that didn't want to just sit still. Ever since she was a hatchling, it was obvious this young skydancer was not to be like her loving, quiet family.

She looked up to her leader, Nievel, and how he braved through the years with strength and courage, banding together a powerful group of warriors to fight against the darkness of their world. She wanted to join his ranks, fighting alongside him. Eventually, Jem knew her daughter's restlessness would not be fulfilled until she achieved this, so she asked Aisha to mentor her. The spiral agreed, and Joiya was trained to be a powerful battler from a young age.

Now, she's one of the most respected warriors in the Star Soldiers, standing proudly to defend her home, her family, and her pride.

Personality-wise, she's learned to be respectful but firm. She isn't one to back down from a challenge, and this bravery has gotten her into one too many mishaps. However, Joiya is also a quick learner, and knows how to fix her mistakes.
