Miryem has a strong personality, demanding returns for the loans her father made to those who refused to pay back. Although it was seen as unseemly for her to do so, she was determined to make her family rich again, even if it meant selling her soul. Her pride at obtaining gold led her to capture the attention of the Staryk King, who was intrigued with her power to spin silver into gold. Thrice proven with the feats he made her perform, she won his heart with her high magic and her ability to perform miracles, helping him save his winter kingdom in the process.
