Biography
With her egg having been found in a hollow of a tree trunk in the Southern Icefields with no sign of any parents, it is assumed that Mipha had been abandoned by her parents. Why her parents, who had clearly been from the Sunbeam Ruins (as shown by Mipha being a Light dragon), is a mystery to the dragon that happened upon her egg.
While on a patrol of the Mine's territory, LaoMa found the smooth, pale egg in a tree's hollow. Her first reaction had been shock. Who would leave their egg in such a place? And, most importantly, why?
Many possible reasons, ranging from death to dropping the egg during flight, came to LaoMa's mind. But each was dismissed, given the location and lack of any support for the theories.
Deciding that the egg must have been abandoned, LaoMa removed the egg from the cavity in the tree and returned to the clan. There the egg was handed over to Riften to watch over until the egg hatched and a decision could be made on what to do with the hatchling.
Once she hatched, Mipha was immediately claimed by Ametrine, who wanted to raise her.
