Nyx

Nyx is Nova's big brother. He is very protective of his baby sister. You touch her, you DIE.

Nyx was born in the Tangled Wood. He was the only egg in his nest. A few years after he was born, his parents had another nest of only one egg. He was overjoyed to have a sibling. He would run over to check on the nest every chance he got.

One day, he went to check on the nest, but it was empty! He frantically ran back to the den. He burst in and found his parents curled up around a baby dragon. His parents beckoned him over, and he lay down next to the baby dragon. They told him that this was his new baby sister, Nova.

Everything was going wonderfully for a few months. They were the perfect family. Then, his parents were exalted, and he was left to raise Nova alone. He became very protective of her. She was all he had left of his once perfect life.

Time passed and Nyx got a job as a hunter. It wasn't the best job, but it was better than nothing. Nova grew up and got a job as an apprentice mage. Things seemed to go well, until Nova started coming home from work late and became much more secretive. Concerned, Nyx followed her to work one day. He hid outside, and after a few hours his patience paid off. Nova came outside with a male Tundra that he had never seen before. Nyx followed them, soon realising that they were more than just friends. This Tundra was trying to take Nova from him. He became so mad that he couldn't think right. He pounced on the Tundra, screaming at him to stay away from his sister. Then he felt a dull thud as Nova knocked him out.

When he woke up, he was laying on the ground where he had attacked the Tundra. He quickly realised what he had done, and flew home as fast as possible. He frantically searched the den, and he found her room emptied of all of her belongings. He collapsed onto the ground sobbing.

He didn't do much for months. He continued working, slowly gathering treasure. Once he had enough treasure, he quit his job and went out to find his sister. He just wanted to apologise. After many months of searching, he found his sister and the Tundra. They looked so happy together. He started to leave, knowing that his sister was happy and didn't need him, when a voice called him. He turned around, and saw the Tundra waving him over.

Nyx aprehensivly walked over. When Nova turned and saw him, she instantly tackled him in a big hug. They both started crying with joy. Nova introduced the Tundra as her mate, Frost. Nyx promised that he wasn't angry about them being together anymore.

Nyx rather liked it on the Windswept Plateau. It was so peaceful, that he decided to stay. He got a job as a babysitter.
