Upon entering the small cave, residing far on the outskirts of the land, a wave of heat overwhelms you... Uncommon for this land, you peer into the twisting caverns, the scent of decay is strong... foreign. "Why have you come here?" Turning, your eyes meet dark, blood red ones that shimmer through the shadows... It was not from this land, and the sash it bore proudly rang true to that. "Ah, it seems you are a far more, curious flight... Hasn't the warden taught you not to invade other's privacy?" The coatl sneered before you, before a soft chuckle came from him. He noticed the sweat beading down your body. "Is the heat too much? you see, where i come from, volatile as it is, it is at least not a frozen wasteland such as this.. We like it warm."
To your surprise, as rude as this burning plague dragon held themselves, they were rather nice to you, going so far as to invite you further... No surprise to your refusal, the heat within far too much, they instead had a small set of beverages laid out before you, settling themselves as they began to speak. Never before did you think you'd be interacting with a clan not from your own flight, but here you were. "You see, Mother has taught us a need for change, nothing remained the same where I was from.." His eyes darted to the side of you as a chilled gust of wind brushed into the entrance. While it relaxed you, the coatl shivered at the sensation, flames floating about him flickering as if wanting to go out; you half wished they had've. "Though, as clan leader I saw how, worried many of my fellow dragons were, always fighting off the contagious strains that Mother brewed..." he went on, explaining slowly how they had moved here, a break from the constant battering from disease that chased them in the plaguelands.
"And that is when we came here, so we could rest and nurture the young.. As unhappy as I am to have the other's follow their new, god, so deticatedly, I'm sure they too will wish for return. Someday..."
