As a hatchling, Fortunae would be with Tiant whenever the matriarch was at the lair. Tiant saw to her education personally, teaching the hatchling how to read and write. The struggle to do so became immediately apparent, as Fortunae was always trying to talk Tiant into letting her eat some meal or snack, her attention wandering frequently.

Still, Tiant persisted and eventually figured out that she could put recipe books in front of the little Mirror. Fortunae became much more compliant in learning at that point.

Over the course of learning how to cook, Fortunae went to Fascia for assistance, and the two of them have become good friends.

Now, Fortunae is in charge of food stores and preparing the meals for the clan.

She eventually changed to a Skydancer to mirror Tiant's change of breed.

Background:
While leading a Scavenging search one day, Tiant came across a little, abandoned Earth Egg. Dignis had said the smart thing to do would be to sell it, but Tiant.... remembered her own story. Tiant remembered how her mothers found her egg and brought her up.

Tiant insisted they at least SEE who was in this egg, for she felt a connection to it.

Dignis eventually agreed, and Tiant tended to the egg. Soon it hatched, and everything suddenly felt right.

An abandoned egg... a female Mirror. Oh, she had been fated to find this hatchling by the gods, to repay the debt she owed to her own good Mothers and Fortune.
