-Bloodclan retreat!

The ferocious Mirror pulled out his claws of the Pealcatcher's throat and looked at his chief, Wild Dance. It was the first time the mighty chief asked for a retreat. He was wounded: one of his wing had a weird angle and his eyes were blinking in pain.

Sacred Sword looked all around himself: there was so many bodies on the ground, so much blood on the rocks. With a sinister growl, he opened his wings and took off, reaching quickly to help his chief. Petal, a female Skydancer, was already trying to carry Wild Dance's broken wing. The male Mirror positionned himself under the other wing an the three dragons managed to escape the battle field.

Three days had passed. Wild Dance's death was a shock for the whole clan. His wind was so damaged it was certain that the poor Wildlcaw would never fly again. The brave chief asked for a quick death. Being unable to fly was an umbearable thought.

Sacred Sword closed his eyes. The past was gone and done. He had been chosen to be the new leader. He would not disappoint his clan. He rose his wings, letting out an angry growl, so that every member gathered around the chief's lair could hear it:

-Bloodclan will prevail! I, Sacred Sword, swear to avenge Wild Dance's memory! Clawclan's coward chief, Bone, will die from my fangs!
