hunter is quite the character- he sees himself as the clan’s elegant, talented bard, when in reality he’s incredibly clumsy, and makes others laugh without even trying. hunter’s ego is immense- he’s aware of his good looks, and is always trying (and failing) to flirt with any dragon that gives him a crumb of attention! he means well, but often makes himself look silly- he’s known for writing beautiful love songs for a different dragon each week, and lavishing attention on whoever he’s crushing on at the time.

he does have a lovely singing voice, but the line of acceptable things to write songs about is often blurred for him- for example it isn’t really appropriate to write and perform a song about that time Selene slipped and fell into the creek! hunter is always dropping things- his fellow dragons literally hold their breath whenever he picks up a hatchling, but luckily he hasn’t quite graduated to dropping the children yet! hunter often frequents the tavern, where he will perform the most outrageous chants and drinking songs, which surprisingly go down very well there- Ruby thinks he’s hilarious, and will often request he stops by if business is quiet, because his fellow dragons seem to gravitate towards him.
