Tio the sharp, a Kirin born of water and wind. She is sleep in appearance, with a form that slithers inbetween true Kirin and Dragon. To the untrained eye she is a simple pearlcatcher, but those that are more magically entwined or more keen of sight know of her truer form. Despite her dubious appearance, Tio is a friendly person, a scholar and a painter. She's often nose-deep in a stack of dusty books, inhaling any knowledge she can. She is also always jingling due to the small luck chimes that hang on her wings, bearing good charm to those she gifts them to, as the Kirin are known to be very lucky people.

It is said that those that meet Tio are unsure of what she truly looks like. Her form shifts subtly due to her magic, simmering like a mirage, a ghost that one cat touch. This is her magic manipulating the world around her, so that they can blend in well with the crowd. In the water, she is especially hard to spot, as her form blends with the ripples and the river weeds. She can purify water by walking atop it or swimming in it, turning any poisoned or murk-filled pool crystal clear within seconds. Her talents are seeked out amongst other clans that are curse-striken, or important dragons paranoid of venomous sabotage. She is often called to places to perform her cleanse. Overtly romantic, and while they have yet to find a mate, Tio is soft at heart and often develops easy crushes on other dragons. From the most delicate Fay to the beefiest Guardian, Tio will swoon over them. Due to her wandering nature, she has met many a dragoness and let her mind wander to them, although sadly so far, the right one hasn't crossed paths with her yet. She still holds hope that the right gal will bump into her, one that doesn't mind her gnarled horns, pet kelpies or their constantly shifting appearance. |

| Kirin are known to live in family herds, but Tio and her family are quite nomadic, and often travel fairly young. Her other siblings had left while she was still young, and she had waited till it was her time to leave the nest. Her parents, Lenka and Hewer, are very powerful Kirin. She keeps in contact with them, sometimes sending small gifts or charms their way. She remembers the day she left, still quite young and seeking adventure, and they had both blessed a chime to hang on her wing before bidding her farewell. She still keeps it on her, hanging above her cave doorway to bless her visitors, it's faint ringing calming her heart. |
