Long had it been since the day was ruined, all because of olden beliefs that were clearly wrong. She ran through the forest, crying without sound, tears freezing and falling into the snow, little crystal gems sinking into the strange, fluffy, cold ground. That day had started out fine, one minute she was the beautiful heiress to her royal family, the next she was nothing, and it was all because they never accepted her for who she was. How is that true love? How can she go back to her family, when she knows they won't like that she loves everyone? She cries more, realizing her life as she knows it is over. What will she do now? She stops running, no longer worried that someone will catch her and force her to go back to continue living life as a peasant while her bratty younger sister gets the throne. It's not a life she'd even consider staying in for more than a day regardless, and it was one that she thought would never happen, yet here she was, betrayed at her worst moment. She slumped down onto the soft snow, curling up into a tight ball and crying more. It seemed like time fell away at that moment, for her sadness had not gone unnoticed as she'd thought. Slowly, she felt something draw near, a set of warm claws slowly caressing her cheeks, then placing a little white, elegant crown on her head. You will always be a queen, at least to me.
