B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: A comforting hand in the darkness that leads hatchlings into the grace of Shadowbinder.

______ Born to a nest with no parents, Dagoa was forced at a young age to forge for herself. She found food for herself at only a few days old, taught herself to read at a week, and gave herself a name as she began to write at a couple months. Slowly over time, she grew to be one of the most intelligent (yet plain) dragons in the Driftwood drag she called home. But of course with her intelligence, she was bound to meet a few people. Around the time she grew into a beautiful dragoness, she found her first mate, Cervir. He too was a dragon that was orphaned at a young age and understood the feeling of being alone. She and this lone guardian started the Whispering Willow Clan who were dead set on helping any orphaned dragons they came across. Unfortunately for Dagoa, these just acts didn’t come without sorrows. She had lost her entire first clutch and her mate to a Beastclan raid while she was out gathering food for her nest. Distraught and alone, Dagoa chose to crawl her way through the Foxfire Bramble to get to the very center of the Tangled Wood: The Forum of the Obscured Crescent. There, she begged Shadowbinder to take her away from these mortal sorrows and come study as her apprentice. The goddess, moved by her speech, allowed this basic Fae to come and study under her guidance.

______ However, unbeknownst to the mourning mother, one of Dagoa’s adoptive daughters survived. Yvu, her blind Ice flight Fae, had crawled through the bodies of her fallen siblings and vowed to continue what her mother had started. Unfortunately, Yvu was not as clever as her mother so the Whispering Willow Clan laid dormant for years. Shadowbinder of course noticed this sudden revival of her disciple’s clan and sent down another Fae guardian gifted with the Primal sight to watch over them. This unfortunately also did nothing due to how often the male Fae left to understand the magic that surrounded him. Growing tired of this, the goddess allowed Dagoa to return, granting her Darkened Sight along with a full body reformation to mark her as one of the goddess’s followers. The only catch was that no one could see her new eyes and that she must never leave the Tangled Wood unless ordered to. Overjoyed to be back with her children, Dagoa continues to watch over the clan with a new sense of caution.
