ARIES
"I never wanted to be this. Now I want to help with this."
"I never wanted to be this. Now I want to help with this."
Aries was never a loud hatchling or who had something with humans before. He was loved by his family, and he was a good hatchling, even though it had a cost. Many times others called him a freak without a reason. Well, until that fae female, Natalia came. Natalia was the only dragon who stood up for him without asking for much. She once went over to their clan's lair, and the parents welcomed her like she was their own hatchling. But a storm came at night, Aries being stressed about it, curling into a ball, his blue cyan eyes glowing from underneath the blanket. Natalia got up at 1AM only to comfort him because he didn't sleep all night because the storm was raging on and on. The parents were quiet because they were asleep... Natalia got to the side of Aries, getting under the blanket, cuddling him in an unnatural position ontop of him. Aries giggled as he moved his wing over Natalia, giving her extra warmth in that cold night. The next day have arrived, and Natalia and Aries walked down the rough stone shaped stairs, getting greeted by their parents' loud laughing. They walked upon them, and saw what they were giggling on. Their hatchling photos. Natalia and Aries both jumped at their parents and both gave a piece of their raging mind in that morning. It was a memory that will never be forgotten. As Aries and Natalia grew up, they both separated ways very slowly, because Aries was going to the army so he began training meanwhile he didn't know anything about his best friend.... Little did he know, going to the army will cost way too much then just leaving her. |
It was an odd day in the camp already, as Aries stepped outside for his usual patrol in his army set. It wasn't the purest protection but he didn't mind it. The next thing he knew, that a ridgeback jumped on his back, but he was able to push it off eventually, and ring the alarm. The entire base was woken up by the alarm, what Aries quickly set to the level Help Needed, what was the highest setting what patrolers could give off. The base quickly set up, but the commanders were already ready and they quickly launched outside, Aries was badly injured, one of his legs was torn off... Blood was everywhere... But the ridgeback male didn't stop there. He grabbed the tail of the mirror painfully, Aries screaming in pain for help until he was unconsious. The ridgeback thrown him into a metal room where Aries finally woke up. He screamed once again with pain fully in his voice, his leg now healing... somewhat. A human came infront of the door, smacking the mirror in the face to get to his neck, and... Aries fell to the ground... Sleepy... At least no pain... right? ... Wrong. He woke up what seemed to him just a couple of minutes ago but it has been over years that he was asleep. He screamed in pain, now more pain in his wing, his eye, his leg. He smacked everything off around him setting of fire within the lab, dragons in the lab finally breaking free from the humans' control. He, however, couldn't fly himself. The ridgeback, who attacked him and dragged him there got him out as soon as possible, helping him fly back to the Lightning flight. Eventhough he was in pain without a doubt, he took the extra effort to visit his army. He went inside, and straight to the office of the lead commander without being seen by others. He was welcomed by the commander who even cried tears of joy for finally seeing that his armys member is still alive and kicking. He soon announced that Aries was found and will be treated and sent back home from his quite long adventure, with Aries' agreement, and he soon got a fixed mechanical leg, devices that helped him fly, but sadly his blind eye couldn't been saved. After all the treatment he went through to finally be able to walk and fly, he was ready to meet his best friend who he made wait for him so long. He was helped sometimes by the commander because the mechanism wasn't perfect, but it did work good afterall. After getting to the lair, Aries took a deep breath and went inside, squeezing himself inside without a noise made before his metal mechanic left front leg hitted the stone underneath. He called out for his mate, loud and clear, who jumped right onto him, himself falling down, causing a little error in his wing mechanism. He smiled, cuddling her, and kissing her on the cheek while he cried along with Natalie to be finally reunited once again... |
