- Formerly a mage of high renown, constantly pushing the limits of magic
- When his clan was attacked, he unleashed a cataclysm that he thought had been engineered to save the lives of his allies while eliminating his foes
- Something went wrong, though, and none were spared, save for him
- Has since discovered that he was granted the remaining lives of all of those caught in the blast, giving him effective immortality at the cost of living eternally with his former clanmates living rent free in his brain (their lives were preserved, in a sense, just not in the way he intended)
- After a long time of wandering, his sins etched into history and his name scorned by all he crossed, he finally settled down among the Wayward Winds
- Lives mostly in solitude, providing small, simple enchantments to the clan—he would like to atone for his past by performing greater deeds to save lives, but fears the risk of his magic twisting again
