Dawn is a noble paladin to the highest degree. A model knight.

He finds himself a diplomat more often than not. Being a peace councilor, an aid in relief, or, in rare circumstances, a monster slayer. Combat is not wholly where his talents lie. He is far better suited to help others in more peaceful manners.

Dawn took to knighthood, first in a bid for revenge. His clan was ravaged by warring clans. His home obliterated as a side effect in a larger war for dominance. He hated the clans who had done this with his whole being. He wanted nothing more than to be sent off to war against them, and obliterate whatever leadership had made the order -- blood thirst.

By the time he entered training, proper, this had faded to an extent. He was taught of peace, and diplomacy. A noble pursuit to help, and it... changed him. He took to it quickly, and found himself ushered far beyond the mere rank of knight, to help others.

At his core, he simply does not want others to suffer as he did.

This suffering extends utmost to the newly reborn Banescales. With their reemergence, he finds himself aiding in humanitarian efforts once again: sharing his species culture with the hatchlings. Gifting the song of their Flamecaller, and stories of where they came from.
