A lonely and often sad wanderer, Crystal spends her days painting portraits and landscapes, writing descriptions of the land around her in a thick and tattered book. Though there are many rumors about her in the towns she travels through, few actually know her history. In truth, her family were also travelers, very rarely stopping in any place long. Before she reached adulthood Crystal had visited eight of the eleven realms. It did not take her long to leave her family and join with a group of adventurers. She excelled with a bow and the short sword, often being the one sent ahead to scout and infiltrate.

But it did not last, as most things didn't in her life. They soon fell to bickering over spoils and turned on one another. One night Crystal snuck away and left them to their fates. Rumor told her that a group of thieves had been caught on the outskirts of an Arcane fae hive and summarily imprisoned. It was a story that was bound to repeat itself several times before she reached the land of Algidir and decided to go it alone.
