Biography

As you continue through the clearing, you pass a particularly messy lean-to. Scraps of machinery, pouches of herbs, and endless piles of junk are scattered across its floor, clustered almost as thickly as the leaf litter that lines the rest of these woods. You realize that you've actually stopped to gawk at this marvelous mess, and it's at this exact second that an orange blur comes racing out towards your ankles.

The critter is a chipskink; a pretty common beast around these parts, but this one seems rather... tame. "Sunny, no!" a voice says from within the shelter. A beaked head, that of a Skydancer, emerges from the piles of junk.

"Sorry about my familiar," says the dragon. As she picks her way over the junk to greet you properly, it clatters and clangs underfoot. "Training these guys is always a... challenge." She whistles, and Sunny returns to her side.

"I'm Mooneyes, by the way." She's got her gaze directed slightly downward, as if eye contact is difficult for her. "You--you could say I'm kind of a magic expert, I guess? I've been working on a way to reverse-engineer Breath, and a theory of elemental alignment--"

Mooneyes barely has time to finish her sentence when an explosion rings out up ahead. She chuckles. "That's Krypton."
