Looking at this dragon, it is easy to see how he got his name: miniscule flowers ring his eyes, while the rest of the plant grows deeply inside. While it is unknown if Blossom was born with this plant inside, or if it is of a more opportunistic type, evidence of its growth appeared soon after his hatching.

Born to zealous followers of the Gladekeeper in the Gladeveins, Blossom grew up surrounded by life, both inside and out. Destroying any life was considered sacrilege to Blossom's original clan; therefore, they did not remove the plant, and even nurtured it with nature magic. Today, the plant is too deeply ingrained inside Blossom to remove without causing possibly fatal damage.

While Blossom's vision is worsened by his leafy parasite, he can still see. Often, his plant will produce seeds, which he collects and incorporates into arrows. When shot, these seeds erupt into violent growth, and can even root through tough dragon hide if the arrow itself has not already pierced it. Due to the lethality of his abilities, Blossom rarely ever shoots living opponents, instead making intimidating warning shots that can scare off most foes.
