Believe in yourself!! - Chimera with nine (9) snake tails (not heads), akin to a Kitsune; fursona, is a being that farms foxes and rabbits for their meat and fur. - Shows the dark in all of us. - (META SYSTEM STUFF) Integration of Ren + Marc. - Animist; death in life, and life in death. - Has mottled bald eagle feathers behind iel right ear :'D! From iel first prey / kill, ever. - Symbolism, yo. - Wears jeans and jeans clothing. - "Arctic Golden Island" fox morph, primarily + other bibs and bobs :'D - Has long ears, dark horns like sheep or ram. A simple snake / scaled tail (with a golden eye on it??). - Is into Vulture Culture. Does skinning and tanning. - Is like... Mottled rufous and golden with quite a ton of off-white!! - Has gray / dark gray markings over this design (horns, and outside of the ears / vertical back stripe / tail base / paws pads). - Double canines. Long snout (between fox and wolf). - Has small horn parts growing out from iel left eye socket... - Violet / bright pink "third eye" on iel forehead :'D - Long flowing mane, and tail base :'33! Cuuurly, too! - Looong front claws!! - Has hallucinations randomly (blood, teeth stuff, textures being weird, sounds replacing other sounds / sounds being out of place + hearing neither-external-nor-internal voices, aaand geometric shapes forever shifting...) - Tho these are also triggered by stress, at times. - Has nyctophobia; starts to hallucinate from all of iel senses in full darkness (also iel panics, and becomes lit. "frenzied"). - Is friend with Eggulls; protects them from others (and also breeds them casually to get more :'33) - AFAB, but is xenogender / trans / nb. - "Alum" or "aluminium sulfate" is a component (often used to manipulate soil acidity in gardens or planting areas) that can be used in the tanning process of pelts! - Iel uses it to tan iel own rabbit and fox hides (in batches, submerging the many pelts in a large pot containing a mix of water, fine salt, and alum)... - Iel does this for 7 to 10 days, inside iel shack (when its inside temperature is semi-warm; tho that can be helped with iel personal furnace...) or outside, in summer (which is also "semi-warm" haha). - After that, iel takes the pelts out of the solution, squeezes the waters out, uses iel claws to flesh the tissues and membranes off, and puts the hides back in the solution for aboouuut another few days (you don't wanna leave the skins in the tan for more than 2 weeks or 14 days overall, tho... Less you want a bunch of the hair to slip out, haha)! - Then, iel takes them out again, squeezes the "tan" out (you never wanna wring 'em!!)... And then, it's "breaking" time :'33! - Aka, stretching the skin fibers every which way, over two or three days while they dry, to prevent shrinkage... And to, ofc, give these hides an iconic white and pliable finish :'33c! Iel helps that final step with juuust a tiny bit of mink oil, too! - Tho there is debate (IRL) as to whether this alum "properly tans", vs "simply thawing" the hides... Hmmm :'33c! Tho, imo, the alum solution is more of a pickle, than a tan... LOL - Nys has a Fire Branch, used for iel hunting and trapping. Small, compact and light; it doesn't vibrate / shifts a lot, when firing the silver bullet. Also, pretty silent :'33c! - Speaks in a strange language, similar to singing (tho the consonants sound pretty harsh...) - Nice contrast, between the soft vowels and the "hard sounds" of some words :'33c lol - Tho no one knows what the heck iel's saying... Iel can make iel intentions very clear, with speech intonations and overall body language. - Iel name comes from "Nystagmus", an eye condition that iel has, which creates twitching or uncontrollable quick movements in one's eye(s); effectively, rendering them unable to see at times + a lack of depth perception. - Nickname is therefore part of that word, "Nys" (which can be a play on "Lys", aka the lily flower!); and iel full name is "Ny-Stag", which is a play on the condition too, and also... "Stag" :'D Like a deer! For Hircine, and Artemis, and Arceus, etc.! - - insert |
