Sharp tongued and shrewd, Vigolfr has a thirst for honour in battle. He is a brilliant tactician and teacher with long focus. He does not shy away from speaking his mind and is generally blunt with his point but eloquent with his words. To most--arguably all--dragons he meets for the first time, Vigolfr comes off as cold and mistrustful. In reality he is wary of strangers and very selective of who he lets close to him. However, once he does, he is unshakably caring to those individuals. Very secretly affectionate and romantic.

He has been socialized to the Clan, and holds great respect for its Head, Cadaan, to whom he goes for advice rather frequently. He likes to swap battle strategies with Thermraad and hopes to succeed him as the Battle Captain someday, though he knows the Guardian favours his son Brik for this role. He is bitter about that, believing--and rightly so--that he is much stronger than the young Tundra.

He has found his mate in his fellow Gaoler Woldja, though the meeting between the two was strained. They existed as bitter rivals for much of the time they have known each other, eventually growing close, which sparked widespread bets about the 'when' rather than the 'if' they would finally be together. It is uncommon to see one without the other, though catching them in an embrace will reduce him to a stuttering mess.
