"Once upon a time, there lived a man in the mountains. He was a bit of a handyman, always doing work for the locals when he'd pass through the nearby towns to buy groceries. His work kept him busy, but in spite of that he was a very lonely man. One day, on his way back from town, the man came across a group of thieves attempting to steal from a beautiful young lady. Like any gentleman would do, he stepped in an stopped them, saving her from their evil intentions. The young lady didn't have anywhere to go, so he allowed her to come home with him, and stay as long as she liked. After a while, the two had fell in love with each other, so they planned to get married; a Spring Wedding. After they got married, time seemed to slip away from the both of them: before they even realized it, months had passed by, and winter arrived. It was about that time, that the man's wife told him they were going to have a child. Sure enough, they did: a beautiful little boy, baring much resemblance to his father, other than his eyes, which were Icy-blue, like his mother. The man and woman were settled in with everything they could ever want: a home and a family. And so, they lived happily ever after. The end."

Only, they didn't really. And that wasn't the end.

Two years later, tragedy struck their household, forever changing that man. After which, he committed many, many atrocities in order to keep his son safe. He became a liar, pretending to be "the good dad" around his son, but playing a heartless, merciless killer around everyone else, all for the sake of a single boy.
