when autumn came
t'was bittersweet
laid down to shut my eyes.

when winter came
was cold and clean
the frost ate at inside.

when spring rains came
it washed away
what my hands had left bloody.

when summer came
i'd waste away
among the bugs and burning.

then autumn came around, again
i'd hoped it never would, again
i tried to run away, again
but seasons change, and chase the dead.

i was a fool, and knew it, too
to trust the people without truth
but you can't be blaming me, can you?
