•Starting Days•
Unastina remains as the eldest hatchling from his clutch. Yet, when he held the opportunity he fled to an organized, self-developing lair. He was young when he traveled, just beginning to sprout his short and stubborn wings for aviation. It took weeks for Unastina to approach the lands known as 'Dretis.' Having heard stories of ill-kept control of dim-lit skies, proven false. During his travel, he pondered if it had been worth the journey, worth getting caught in a heavy density of wind currents tossing him off guard. Though he found his ears filled with joyful laughter and music, the aroma of freshly baked and cooked ingredients, and his eyes lit up with lights strung across small dens and structures. He anticipated a cold greeting to be projected and intimidated with spears to his throat. Yet he never had weapons brought up to his light and spotted scales. Instead, a Nocturne approached. A glint of curiosity in the Nocturne's light-colored goat-like eyes looking into his wary gaze. "You're not from around here, are you?" She questioned, sitting down as she looked down at the coiled Spiral. "No, I'm not, I deprive of a Wind base lair, I left upon hearing news of. . Dretis?" He spoke, his eyes wandering to the many dragons gathered around, happily enjoying one another's presence. The Nocturne turned her head to the dense crowds before turning to face the Spiral. "I See, why'd you travel this far? How long did it take?" "Two weeks, I think? Somewhere like that, I don't really know. . I wanted to see what this whole 'Dretis' was about. I just kind of-- Abandoned everything I had from my homeland, to arrive here. ." He trailed off, his gaze continuing to wander around the well-lit atmosphere. "Well, you seem to be an observant individual. I think you'd make good use at Dretis. Besides, we've been wanting newer members to Dretis." Unastina perked his head upwards, "This. . This is your land?" "Indeed it is. I was the first born to Dretis, bestowed to take control over it. Though I didn't want this fate." "What?! I would absolutely love to be in-control of a civilization. I was a messenger before I travelled. Ah!-- That reminds me, I'm Unastina!" He offered out a small palm, elongated yellow talons reaching outwards. "Ruvell. But, you're welcomed to call me whichever. I can see us getting along well." The Nocturne took his palm, shaking it with a growing smile. "Why don't I give you a tour to Dretis? I'm sure you'll find something to do while we settle you in," "Yeah, I would like that a lot. Thanks, Ruv." "Ruv? I like that."
