Copperstep

Personality: Copperstep is a lighthearted individual. Despite his youthfulness he cares greatly for the individuals in whatever Clan he calls home and is always willing to lend a helping paw. Copper greatly enjoys spending time with his fellow Gaoler, Celesta, who serves as one of the Clans two Healers, and often accompanies her while she treats patients in Hopes to study and learn. Despite his adopted parents protests at his chosen occupation, hoping that someday he might grow to become a fine warrior, Copper is determined to be chosen to become one of the two Dragons in the Clan to become Healer Apprentices.

Despite his kind heart Copper is stubborn and mischievous like all youth. He also doesn't take kindly to those who look down on her for his abnormally small size and snaps at anyone who dares mention it. Sadly Copperstwp often finds his kindness taken advantage of by some of the other pups and is picked upon for his timid and gentle nature.

When he is grown Copperstep will become less timid and more stern, tho he will still never turn away a needing paw.

History: Abandoned. This is what he now knows that he was. His mother—Gone; His Father—Gone; They were both there one minute but the next.. Neither of them anywhere to be seen. he was alone in a strange place and very afraid. "Mama?" his voice shook as he called out in a frightened tone.

Silence

his eyes darted around the area, paralyzing fear sinking its claws deeper into his core the longer he stood there. Mama and Papa would come back for him.. They just got separated.. he just needed to wait..

The Brown Gaoler pup remained there for what felt like hours.. eventually the Evening sun gave way to The Moon and stars and Night descended; he still refused to move very far, convinced his parents would return for him. Instead the terrified little one curled up in his spot and waited. he slept very little that night.

When morning came and his parents still had not come for him Kalin was terrified. What was he to do? he remained where he was, curled in a ball on the ground. he prayed to every God he could remember for someone to come for him. For his Mother and Father to come back.

The day came and went; Night fell upon the world once again and there was nothing. Starving and scared he cried himself to sleep.

The sound of rustling leaves woke him in the middle of the night and his head darted up as he frantically peered around, his eyes wide as saucers. Before he could even utter a word a brilliant white Tundra with Wings of Gold and plated in Silver emerged from the brush, a startled look on his face at the sight of the youth. "What are you doing out here all alone little one? Where's your parents?"

The strangers voice was gentle and soothing and it coaxed an answer, albeit a shaky one, from the scared pup. "M–mama and Papa.. they disappeared... I–I have to wait for them..."

Runesoul's heart broke at the Gaolers words. The way the pup described it he'd just gotten separated but from the look of him.. he'd been out here for a few days alone at least. Abandoned.. The poor thing. Runesoul hid her sadness at the pups situation and pasted on a soft smile. "Why don't you come with me and we can get you cleaned up and something to eat?

Kalin was clearly hesitant. Food sounded amazing but.. "What about Mama and Papa? How will they find me?" his ears pinned against his head.

"I'll have someone leave a message for them." His parents were never coming back, Runesoul knew that, but she needed to appease the pup. he couldn't just leave him here to die.

Kalin stared at him for a minute, as if debating, but a grumble from his stomach quickly made up his mind. He got to his paws and nodded, padding over to Runesoul. Runesoul smiled at the pup and motioned with her head for him to follow as she turned and disappeared back into the brush; Kalin hot on her heels.
