Bio: Esme is the ultimate expert on what's In and what's Out. And she'd never be caught dead with the latter. Once she has a goal, she goes after it with single-minded persistence, whether that's her old acting teacher's heart or revenge on Beatrice for stealing from her. She's always bold in both her fashion choices and life choices, never backing down once she's made a decision.

Her main interest in the Baudelaires is getting back what their mother stole from her all those years ago. She has plenty of money so no real interest in their fortune. But she's willing to work with Olaf for a time if it means it gets her closer to her goals. For a Skydancer, she's fairly ruthless when it comes right down to it, willing to do whatever she has to in the end; she was all too happy to ditch her mate once he was no longer of any use to her.

Though never technically affiliated with VFD, she's gotten quite tangled up in many of their affairs, and knows a lot of its members on both sides of the schism--and has bad blood with most of them. 		Parched Clay Jar
