Her mother was the queen of corals that her father, a sea captain, fell in love with. They say she saved him from the sea, falling in love as she cared for him on the beach. However, sea dragons and land dragons were forbid to have children. As their eldest offspring, Amphitrite is a quiet spirit, bearing the responsibility of their forbidden love. All she hides her hidden might, bitterly hiding her sorrows with humour. Although she had a couple hatchlings from affairs with ocean travellers, she never loved any of them. All she holds in her heart is darkness, the magic of the coral, and dreams of a greater destiny that she'll never have the courage to grasp.
As she reached for power, she became the goddess of the ocean, taking upmost pride in her glittering appearance. As a hobby, she likes to wander to shore, sinking ships for fun.
