Despite their less-than-glamorous title, Spindle is invaluable for the day-to-day maintenance of the Postal Service. Besides general maintenance and common domestic assistance (like sweeping out Quill's den because he refuses to do it himself), Spindle keeps the parcels organized and in good condition.

They sometimes have to remind their lairmates of the importance of their position. A couple days of a leaky den roof tends to keep snide comments at bay.
