Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this lovely gal wandered a little too far from her home lair (@Crystalwood) , and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Tidal Wave stands on a plateau of crystal with Kazumi, who is holding out a scroll, on her right, and Ember, who cared for all of the dragons before them as hatchlings. The rising sun created a halo around their figures.
"My dear friends," Tidal Wave begins. "It comes time again for our children to clear their own paths and choose their own journies as we once did."
She looked out over the group of young dragons, who were hatchlings or just barely old enough to not be. "Children, you have chosen to leave your birth clan and find where you belong in this world. Some clans condemn this, but we are proud, for this clan was built on dragons who left their homes and created their own paths."
She sighed. Kazumi held the scroll out for her, despite the fact that she had done this hundreds of times and had every word memorized.
"I only have a few words of wisdom for you.
Ember chimed in, with tears in his eyes. "The world is both dangerous and wonderful, and we hope we have prepared you for your journey beyond our clan. May you remember what you learned and how much you are loved, and may we meet again."
22/8/19 - She wasn't prepared. She had gotten lost. She had gotten so hopelessly lost. She didn't mean to get to the ice flight, but here she was, wandering around the snowy landscape, not sure which way was north or south, or where the closest area of civilisation was. She sighed.
Just my luck, lost in the ice. On the flip side, at least she wasn't freezing cold like she thought she'd be, she had her thick pelt to thank for that. It almost felt refreshing to be in a colder environment, but that didn't change the fact that she had no idea where exactly she had ended up. She muttered to herself then started to stomp through the snow, standing up tall as she headed in whatever direction her gut told her to go.
It wasn't long before she came across a clan, hidden in the ice caps. It was full of dragons flying about and working together, each one happy and looking as if they were at peace. Atrasia blinked then walked towards them, smiling a little shyly as she did. A tiny fae caught her eye, and swooped down to greet the tundra with wide eyes, but a happy smile.
"Welcome traveller! what brings you here?" Atrasia blinked, and giggled nervously.
"I don't know, i was flying around ready to start my journey....and kinda just ended up here." The fae blinked, but laughed a bit, then motioned for the tundra dragon to follow her.
"well, let's go get you something warm to wear so you don't freeze, and I'll show you were you are." The fae chirped as she moved towards a large den filled with maps and trinkets. Atrasia blinked in amazement, but smiled as the fae helped her settle in temporarily.
During her time in the Isle of dancing lights, Atrasia was given a map, a compass, and some food to help her on her journey. She soon set off, eager to learn more about sorienth.
Stopping to rest at the border between the Tangled Wood and the Sea of a Thousand Currents, Atrasia found herself in the territory of a strange clan of dragons who blended seamlessly into the strange tidal landscape. They regaled her with tales of ancient kings and sacrifices as they sat round a fire roasting fishes, sweet potatoes and plantains. One stony-coloured dragon, Gannet, painted her portrait on a scroll of parchment, which she slipped into the pack of supplies the clan gave Atrasia for her journey.
The winds along the coast of Wind's domain were a joy to fly through, so that Atrasia didn't noticed when she transitioned from Wind to Arcane. It was a cool wind blowing from the south that made her land on the coast, intending to rest for only a moment until a small fishing party lead by a red and glittering mirror stumbled upon her. Another dragon may have fled from the group with the fierce dragoness in the lead, but she held her ground. The mirror turned out to be one of the clan's founders, and she extended an offer of hospitality that Atrasia accepted.
The woods the fishing party lead Atrasia into had a soothing effect. The stars were exceptionally bright through the graceful trees. It seems like a place caught on one of those perfect days of the edge of autumn. Almost as if it had been trapped in time. The clan was welcoming and shared their meals eagerly, and offered her a sound bed for the night. She spent a few days, hesitant to leave for a reason she found she could not articulate, but eventually she did thank the clan for their hospitality and bid her goodbyes. Upon on emerging back onto the shore she found it scattered with frosted driftwood, as if many months had past. She had only stayed with the clan for a few days, hadn't she? She shook herself of an uncanny feeling and took to the air again.
Atrasia headed east, skirting around the Scarred Wasteland, before the salty air was under her wings, and she recognized that she was over the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Before long, she began to tire of flying, but had no place to touch down to. When all seemed lost, she spotted a floating town over the Fishspine Reef. She touched down and was welcomed into the town occupied by Clan Driftisle.
While there, she rented out an empty home and shared stories of her travels with other dragons. One tiny Fae, Puddle, thought her head bows were adorable, and just had to give her a matching bow for her neck. When she told the town dragons about how her father was a warrior, one of the trainers, Bogwater, insisted that she join her on a patrol. After that experience she felt considerably stronger and even learned a new spell.

"I only have a few words of wisdom for you.
Stay on your guard. Do not trust easily, because it could be your demise.
Do not rest until you find happiness. There is a place for you in this world, but you will never find it if you give up before you get there
Stay true to your values. Trust that your beliefs will see you through. Compromise is the enemy of everything you hold dear.
Remember that you always have a home here. If you are ever in need or find that this is where you are happiest, find your way back and we will be waiting for you."
Ember chimed in, with tears in his eyes. "The world is both dangerous and wonderful, and we hope we have prepared you for your journey beyond our clan. May you remember what you learned and how much you are loved, and may we meet again."
