Trigun is my favorite anime/manga series, and when I started playing with fandragon ideas, the six billion double dollar outlaw was a no-brainer. I wanted the challenge of capturing all his qualities in one dragon.

He had to be a Pearl Catcher because they seem playful and serious to me at the same time. Plus, imagine the pearl as a donut! At the time, the Red Lab Coat didn't exist, so I had to have Crimson primary and Gold secondary so the "blond" was darker than his brother Knives. I'm debating between adding Seraph or Stripes (see the pic below) to reflect how his hair darkened underneath as the series progressed but its mostly hidden under apparel anyway.

That this Pearl is a Nature dragon is no mistake. I've seen some debate about what color Vash's eyes are, but they've always looked more green than blue to me, so that's what I went with. With more apparel releases, I've revisited his costuming a little over time. He started with black boots and gloves, but after watching the series and Badlands Rumble again, I opted for Leather Aviator gloves and boots. My favorite part of this was constructing the Angel Arm! I originally only had the Alabaster Wing Guard and Cloudy Feathered Wings, but the Frosted Wood additions are a nice touch adding to the organic feel of it. The rest is just icing on the donut, especially the Red Rose Flower Fall as a not to Rem.
