Born a tundra, Nahia felt uncomfortable in her fluff. She yearned for something else and found it in the feathered wings and grace of a skydancer body. Now the matriarch of the Golden Horde she roams the world as she pleases, true to her Wind-born heritage. She even persuaded Eloise and Tommo into setting up a summer home in Nature.

Sometimes she visits the lairs of children or grandchildren and adopts a new descendant, much to the dismay of her daughter. She adores hatchlings, considering every single one in the lair her own 'egg', protecting and caring for them all, and the best-behaved are allowed to help feed the chickens.

She is also the law of the Golden Horde, even if enforcing her will means, more often than not, reining in her own daughter.

Born to the clan in a time of upheaval, when many dragons came to them to grow stronger and ascend to the Windsinger's side, she resolved to remain with the clan as long as she could so all her eggs had someone who was always there, a sheltering boulder in the storm of life.

Proud but loving, restless but forever drawn home.

She has, but rarely wears, the bone crown of the pact.
