DDDespite his skill in maps though . . . they don't bring him the most attention.
DDAlongside his maps, Xidorn has written a plethora of romance novels. Currently at a total of fourteen, it's a shock to some to learn that novel-writing isn't his primary job. A total romantic, Xidorn often spends his free time indulging himself in dramatic fantasies he yearns to live out himself-- from a scholar falling in love with a prince, to an exiled warriors forbidden romance with the judge that persecuted him. These novels have taken off all around Sornieth-- and three of them are dedicated to a dragon Xidorn is beyond in love with.
DDThose two things are probably the most common thing you'll hear about Xidorn. A handsome, flirtatious man with a keen silver tongue and immaculate artwork, a one of a kind cartographer that deserves his official title. But, that's only on the surface. To the Silver Market, many grow wary at just the mention of his name.

"What use is blood-stained parchment?" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ DDXidorn is the sole cartographer of Phrauge. One would think it unusual for such a thing to occur, but not one person has questioned it just yet. Reigning from the Minor-Sect So, Xidorn was raised with his only purpose being Map-Making. The So Minor-Sect comes from the Dragonhome border, and is notorious for their strict rules in regards to its family members and their purpose in the world. Where Xidorn was dedicated to the art of cartography, his mother was one of ink-- his father one of woodwork. These focused talents are chosen from birth and meticulously trained from the second the child can grasp the arts. While some may find this just the slightest bit miserable, Xidorn couldn't be more thankful for it. DDHaving started at quite the young age, Xidorn is known for his gorgeous illustrations and map work. He makes his own parchment, and though he does make his own ink-- his mother sends him jars almost every day, and goes to locations in person in order to make the maps as accurate as physically possible. He pours as much detail as he can into these works, which has gained him a decent amount of attention, even from other Flights across Sornieth. |
