★★★ QUICK LOOKMatriarch At first glance, Soleil is a bundle of bright, shining, radiant happiness. She has a smile for everyone she meets, and is not opposed to wrapping a random stranger up in her leathery, warm wings should they appear to need a hug. She is a ‘cup half full’ kind of dragon and can always see the bright side in any situation, regardless of how dire it may seem. She leads her clan by example and there is no task too lowly for her to undertake. She will muck out familiar stalls just as quickly and efficiently as she will lead an army into battle. Her clan adores her and would follow her anywhere. |

★★★ PERSONALITY Most dragons would describe Soleil’s personality as ‘bubbly’, ‘positive’, ‘cheerful’, and ‘loving’. And for the most part, they are correct. She has worked hard, and through many unmentionable struggles to cultivate these traits, though there are days that she struggles. Weeks when she must retreat to her lair to battle the demons within her. Her responsibilities to her clan and the demands of leading them successfully take a toll on her. But, she does not give her subjects, friends, or loved ones the ability to see that side of her. She must remain strong. An example to those she rules over. And she will, until the day she meets the Lightweaver face to face. |

★★★ HISTORY Very few dragons have any idea to what horrors lie in Soleil’s past. Only Scur, who has seen her scars and witnessed her desperate cries while clutched in the talons of a nightmare can guess. Even then, they are at best, guesses. She has never confided in him what terror she has experienced, what evil she has beheld. He alone knows the furrow of her brow when old injuries threaten to overtake her with their flare-ups of pain, or sees the absolute dedication she has to bare it with a smile lest the clan (or anyone else) should notice and perceive weakness. |
