A former guard of the Fortress of Ends, Wanderer resigned from his position after witnessing something truly terrible within the frozen prison, and suffering a curse - after which he became ill and his plumage began to fade. After travelling through the Southern Icefield and the Starfall Isles, living from the land and in terrible condition, he settled with Tenebris Reflexionem and became the first Ice Ambassador.

He feels shame for 'abandoning' his old life, among other things. He is also the father of Wyatt, the curse given flesh, who has since been hidden away in the depths of the clan caverns. His former mate, Meridian, left the clan because of the cursed and evil hatchling she did not want to claim, abandoning the other two hatchlings in the clutch. Often, Wanderer finds himself lost in his own ruminations. He worries that he might lose his current mate, Briarheart. Could what he saw all those years ago really destroy him as it claimed?
