His name means "He who greets with fire" Much like a lion or some sort of big cat, he's not trusting. He openly is fierce and will fight till the death. He isn't one to back down but will give up if it means someone else has a chance at life.

The Awakening:
How he responded to being called kid? He nearly forgot his own name until one day, out of the blue, Aanra shouted his name fully correct, pronunciation on point, and sounded like she was in pain for some reason.
He flew into an attack position. What hurt her? What's happening? How do I fix this? Is she okay? Where is she?
He looked around and didn't see her. He cursed loudly. And heard several gasps. "Oh shut up!" He yelled back in response. He heard quiet giggling. Only that noise was made when Aanra was up to no good. She was close by. He ran around every corner in hopes of finding her.
He ran into a dark alley and paused. She couldn't be here. Could she? "Aanra?" Then it went black he couldn't see. His feet fell and his head bounced off the ground. When he wakes up, he's gonna be furious.
Aanra heard him call out her name one last time before her eyes began to fade into a blinding obsidian. She called out for him louder as it got colder and darker. "N! Where are you!? Help me! Please! I'm sorry!"
He couldn't hear her, he was knocked out cold.

His Dark Eyes
A loud smack resonated within the seemingly enclosed space. "Who are you with?" Asked a man with a gruff, menacing voice. N's hair stood on end. And his ears laid flat against his skull in protest of what inevitably was going to happen to him. There was a camera on him. He could feel it. He tried his best to open his eyes. All he saw was black. He blinked many times and saw the same color each time. Or a space devoid of color. He yelled at the top of his lungs and shook himself.
They yanked his hair hard back and he made no sound. "You're gonna give us answers, boy." Someone whispered angrily in his ear, since he didn't react in a way they liked. "Turn on the live footage!" Said the man to another person in the room. There was clicking and clacking noises around him. He shifted his head wherever it was coming from, then when a low, sad whimper started coming from the TV he howled. That was her. Aanra. She was hurt.
"AANRA! I'LL FIND YOU! I SWEAR TO YOU!" He coughed and began choking. They laughed at his failing attempts. His body racked with tears. He was near broken now. His eyes began to fade up into a normal color. He could see her onscreen. He could see her! She was tied up, and he cried. They had her, they had his love, they took his heart and tore her.
On the video, whenever a specific man came near her, she'd cover herself and whimper in a scared way. He growled possessively. Hearing her pained screams made him angry, so angry in fact, his wrists were rubbed red and bloody from trying to break from the chains and shackles. "If I live I will hunt you down, and kill ever single one of your inbreds." The laughter stopped. A blow from a large fist was sent to his head. His mouth was hanging open in pain. "Stop hurting her, I'll give you anything. Just let her go. Set her free. Please." They chuckled and a man pointed at the ground and N's eyes darkened again. He could no longer see. And it was their fault. They may have his eyes, but he won't let them have his heart.

Life After Death:
After coming home from such a traumatic experience, Aanra was in a rush to protect her family. Home. N nor Aanra never called the clan home until they were saved by their leader. When she was captured, she was already with child. She was only weeks pregnant, but it was still worrying. N because overly obsessed with her whereabouts. She wasn't one to love the attention, but it made her feel happy. Knowing now that everyone paid attention to her, she wouldn't get a chance to injure anyone or be injured because of a mistake she made so long ago.
