After her first journey, Cygnus now spends lots of her time all over Sornieth, commonly the southern icefield, studying the various creatures that call it home. Her love of biology, however never drives her from home for too long, as she doesn't particularly enjoy the company of other dragons outside her home and the clans from her secondary flights, who hold the same interests as her.

She is best friends with Kalkeus, and when Cygnus returns home from her expeditions they can often be found discussing their various discoveries while they've been apart.

She can talk at length about the behavior of animals and the beastclans, using her notes and diagrams she scribbled down to illustrate her points clearly and carefully, which the clan guides saw as reason enough to invite her to become a part of their council, but she refused, as it would distract from the work which she so thoroughly enjoyed.

As a compromise, she gives lectures on her discoveries from time to time to dragons in the clan and any passers-by who stop to listen, boosting her confidence by a lot, which she uses to extend her trips, little by little.
