The glittering gems of Cairnstone Rest are irresistible to Alligators. These dragons collect hordes of these precious stones, decorating their homes and bodies with the glittering treasures. Many Alligators sleep on mounds of the beautiful gems, and over time may begin to have stones or glittering dust embedded into their skin. These dragons are infamous for setting intricate traps to guard their hordes and many legends have arisen after wandering treasure hunters have fallen prey to their shenanigans.




Personal Lore

In recent years the clan’s population of Alligators has grown into a small tribe. Argemone, born to the clan, was joined by Momus. Vasyugan took a mate in Lakota. They make for an unusual pack. Argemone, although not a true Alligator, has fallen in among her mate’s companions. She has begun to mimic their behaviors.

These serpentine Imperials, both Argemone and Lakota, have bodies long and winding enough to span the swamp bed for great distances. They assist their peers in guarding a vast hoard of wealth, sequestered away in the swamps. The pair of friends spend most of the day with their bulks resting under the water; buried in the soft silt at the bottom. Their necks stretch many meters toward the surface, and allow them to breath. The sensitive scales of these Imperials can detect vibrations. Any creature that disturbs the mud, will find that they have drawn the attention of a hidden leviathan.
