Ammit

The judge, the Jury and the Executioner.

Ammit is a strange, terrifying and completely unknown creature. He appeared out of nowhere; perhaps he crawled up from hell itself, spewing hellfire and black lightning from gaping jaws.

Or maybe an ancient, forgotten god sent him to force the inhabitants of the mortal plane to atone for their sins. Perhaps he is just a creature of the dark, summoned forth by an overabundance of war and greed.

Whatever reason for his presence, Ammit has stated firmly that he isn't going anywhere. He is the beginning, the middle, and the end. He is the one all dragons meet when it is their time; he is the one who judges their worth. If they pass, they may cross the river and continue to another life.

If they do not pass....Ammit devours them, body and soul.

Ammit is, after all, The End of All Things.
