He's an abomination. There's no other word for this shambling corpse masquerading as a Drone; I can't even see traits to equate him as a dragon. I had thought Frankincense to be a childish and kind Consciousness, not a monster as many other's in the Resistance claimed.

I was wrong. Pardon the pun, but dead wrong. I was blind to her dangers due to her appearance. I was an idiot. But this isn't a diary to bemoan my own failures. I apologize.

The Drones dragged his corpse into her crystal-covered chamber, pink cascading upon the unnatural beings making them look delicate as glass. She took one look at the limp dragon and said nothing. Just tilted her head like the perplexed hatchling I had mistaken her to be.

The quiet chitters and clicks from her Drones seemed to mean nothing. They feared the consequences of their apparent failure. But she just...waited for them to leave, to assimilate the lonely corpse in her halls. To let the Wildclaw join her family. Confused but loyal, they followed orders and left.

It took three weeks. Three weeks to find her Assimilation rooms. I'd never been interested in finding such a miserable place, ut obviously I was mistaken. It's covered in crystals holding the poor captives in torment as they're forced to become monsters. The Wildclaw was the only one I was interested in at the time, but I plan to join a raid later this month to save the others.

He was the only one inside of his delicate pink prison and immobile. Surprisingly hard to locate when in a den of misery. A constant stream of electronic-looking magic that I've never seen before in the Hive was coursing through the body. I had to flee before more study could be done; the other Consciousness, Connie, coming through to supervise.

When I saw this Drone actually "alive," I was horrified. It shambles, staggers, with pale eyes that don't match the Light flight he hailed from. Pale and full of malice. He's stitched together by the Filigree and his own carapace, wings too tattered to truly fly. It's been stitched together by other dead Drones as well... The pieces don't match...

By the Eleven, the horror I feel speaking of it... The main fear I have is that it is intelligent. Its already found some of our carefully hidden spyways, but thankfully doesn't seem interested in hunting the Resistance. It is ravenous for knowledge, often visiting THE RADIANCE's Hive near the Library. It's been mostly ignored by that Consciousness, but is obviously aware of the boon it has and respects each Drone it encounters.

But the main point of this entry is the fact that Consciousness Frankincense has raised the dead.

I've hazarded another venture into the Hive. Hazarded the trails this disgusting monster knows. It travels my paths; the smooth steady strides showing the patchwork creation's mastery over its body now. When I got into the Crystal Chamber again and saw the Hive hard at work as usual. Frankincense was doting on all her Drones as usual, childish and sweet once more.

Frankincense loves it.

She looks at it like any other Drone, adoring mother and divine benevolence incarnate. Nothing wrong with that truly disturbing monster puts her or her Hive off. The only thing that unsettled her Drones in some moments are its eyes.

Eleven, it's possible to call this Drone beautiful if not for its eyes that pierce and hate. I digress. Frankincense has taken on teaching this thing how to be a Consciousness. It is learning voraciously and adores her just as she loves it.
