Octavia is uninhibited and fierce. After being hidden her entire childhood in order to keep from being discovered Octavia was free for the first time in her life, something she embraces even as she struggles with it. She is brave and self-confident. Octavia has a short temper and is prone to outbursts and violence. She sees only in black and white, and judges others harshly as a result. She cares deeply for the people she loves, including her brother Octavia can be very more violent and after becoming a Knight within the Clan, she finally felt like she had an outlet to release all of her frustrations to a good cause.

Winning the Final Conclave, Octavia become the an elite Knight. However, it wasn’t long after she had become a knight that she mistook commoners for raiders and unfortunately took their lifes on an escort for the royals. She instantly recognized her mistake and that she needed redemption for her actions and was horrified by what she she would be seen as. In her new mindset, Octavia tries to be far less violent, advocating openly for plans that doesn't risk innocent lives to save their friends. Octavia works hard to protect innocent dragons during the activation of the Adjustment Protocol and shows continuing remorse for her past.
Meaning of Name:

The name Octavia is a girl's name of Latin origin meaning "eighth". Octavia began as the Latin, then Victorian name for an eighth child.
