Murus

Murus, a young glass blower at the time was a fairly well known dragoness for her craft. She was young, but had picked up on the art quickly. Despite the love for their work, her family was nothing close to wealthy. only thing keeping them alive and fed was their work. One late evening after Murus had finished a number of deliveries, she came home to her parents cowering over numerous pieces of parchment spread across a weathered table. Her mother and father looked devastated.
“Bankrupt?” she heard her mother’s sweet voice softly gasp.
The next weeks were torture to say the least, but as young as Murus might have been, she refused to let her family wilt away in this embarrassing manner. Determined, the star speckled Skydancer urged her parents to pack up whatever materials and machinery they regularly used, and carry whatever they could fit on their person (or dragon?) in hopes to move to a larger city where the demand for their decor was higher. To her dismay, they refused to embark on such a foolish uncertain journey.
Nomatter, Murus thought bitterly. I will go alone.
With that she did the packing herself. Not being strong enough (or allowed) to take the tools used for glassblowing, she broke up some leftover stained glass and shovelled it into pouches after pouches after pouches, never to been seen again by her grim village.
Days... weeks... months passed, until finally Murus had reached her final destination. A new beginning. A new home. Working with what she had at the time, the creative young soul had begun to make mosaics. Which, turns out became rather popular, undoubtedly causing Murus to earn her famous nickname:
”The Mosaic Queen”
