Biography

This dragon's story was unremarkable until he was captured by a pack of Mirrors ranging through the Sunbeam Ruins. Kept for the pack's entertainment, the once proud, defiant creature was laid low when his captors destroyed his pearl to make him easier to handle. The cruel act was devastatingly effective; knowing he could never return home and lost without his identity, the Pearlcatcher sank into a depression and no longer had the will to resist his confinement.

He was rescued by the Mirror Raziel, whose actions he barely recognized until he was far from his former captor's lands, and resides with him now in the Shifting Expanse. Though he has made progress since his ordeal, he lacks the easy confidence and charisma so common to his species, and feels very anxious when Raziel is out of line of sight, even for a moment. They are an unofficially bonded pair.
